The first trend, “Multi-Channel Experiences Are The Norm,” is something we’ve been preaching since 2012. With the exponential growth of mobile phones and accessing the Internet with them, consumer behavior is such that a person is watching TV on their couch, with laptop on the coffee table, tablet on their lap, and scrolling through messages on their mobile phone.
It’s all connected and so seamless, it’s almost impossible to attribute conversions to one specific channel. In other words, multi-channel attribution is out of reach, for 99% of businesses anyway.
